Year in Review from RealWear’s CEO Dr. Chris Parkinson

Post date :

Dec 18, 2023

Wow! What another AMAZING year of change and progress in my first year as CEO. It is a moment to feel grateful, for my health and the health of my family, as well as being entrusted to spearhead our next era of growth.

Especially with so much amazing attention on the metaverse and now AI! It's also a time to remember my dear friend, Sanjay Jhawar, my co-founder, who passed away this year from cancer, and to send special gratitude to our recently retired CEO, Andrew Chrostowski, who navigated the business during the tumultuous pandemic.

This was certainly a year of hard work and learning. Much gratitude to RealWear employees, our incredible partners both large and small, and to you, our outstanding and committed customers, who are forging ahead on their connected worker plans.

My focus this year was truly about you. I've ensured that we're building our growth based on YOUR challenges and YOUR needs. My goal is to listen closely, visit many of you in person, and harness the talents of my product and engineering teams to build intuitive turnkey enterprise solutions that are nothing short of magical. We still have a long way to go, but here are a handful of achievements worth highlighting:

Launched RealWear App Marketplace which is an intuitive and trusted destination to find the latest solutions by RealWear and our partners.

Launched RealWear Navigator 520, the ultimate hands-free device with the all new HyperDisplay.

Announced RealWear Navigator Z1, our most powerful and intrinsically safe solution for hazardous environments featuring our first Qualcomm processor with AI Core.

Launched RealWear One to enhance your device experience with easy network connections, video calling and live remote keyboard. Please check it out.

Next year, we ll continue to focus on rolling out new full solutions, ramping up our commitment to sustainable business practices, and growing our business together. We ve got a very exciting lineup of products next year, so stay tuned for that.

Have a Safe, Happy Holiday and see you in 2024.

Chris
