Walt Vahey

Walter is the President of MiR, a Teradyne-owned company. He has extensive experience in building and growing winning technology businesses.

Prior to this role, he served as the Executive Vice-President of Corporate Development at Teradyne. Walter joined Teradyne in 1986 and has held various positions across engineering, sales, and marketing. From 2001 to 2004, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Operations at Empirix, a communications performance management company. Walter also serves on the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) Robotics Technology Strategy Board, and is on the board of Directors for RealWear and Machine Metrics. A Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, his areas of specialty include general management, M&A, strategy, marketing, sales, and new product development.
